Removing the criminal aspect of prostitution would serve to make it a legitimate business (over time.) People can get by on their talents / attributes in other avenues of life, so why not prostitution? But then, I always default to "why the fuck not" if something is between two consenting adults. Not only is prostitution a natural part of life and society, and will never ever go away, but the women in this profession DESERVE the same legal benefits and protection that everyone else gets.
